Some of my favorite makeup is bridal makeup. Before a bridal makeup, I never think "What type of makeup am I going to do?" My thought process is usually "What is the best way to enhance & bring balance to her features while giving her the makeup she is asking for?" because it's not about the makeup-- It's about the woman in the makeup! I haven’t posted a before/after in so long! I love the transformation that makeup can have! Not only on someone’s physical appearance but on their emotional posture as well. Watching someone suddenly sit a little taller, smile more, & make more direct eye contact with me is beyond rewarding. This is why I ALWAYS encourage someone to get their makeup done for a special event. Because when you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, you can help others feel good!

For this shoot, I was really inspired by equality & differences. Notice how both of these women have such different features but are both STUNNING. Not one is better than the other. They are simply different. As women we often compare ourselves to others & it’s nonsensical! What I love about makeup is that EVERYONE can enhance what they already have. If you try to look like someone else your whole life, it’s honestly a waste of a face. YOU- yes you - are beautiful. YOU are unique. YOU have impact. Not only does it keep me on my toes, but it is so much more rewarding! What’s better than making someone feel like the best version of themselves?! Vinny and Claire came all the way from Colorado to Moab to seal the deal. They have spent countless summers exploring the red dirt mountain biking trails of Moab, and knew this was the place they wanted to tie the knot. We hiked in to one of their favorite spots that overlooked Castle valley, and watched the sun paint colors on this vast desert scape that almost brought me to tears.
Moab is one of those places that just lights this fire in me. It makes my imagination soar. It will never get old no matter how many times I explore it. From soaring towers, to orange arches, to incredibly deep canyons, I can honestly say it’s a place I can’t stop returning to and dreaming of. I hope you can feel that sense of wonder we all felt as the sunset embraced this beautiful corner of the world 🌅

Who doesn't LOVE the candid shots where you're enjoying each other as a couple, but you just can't deny the power in a totally captivating look straight at the camera. And the colors?! I mean, look at that sunset on the mountains behind them! These two had such an effortlessly FUN love together, and pure adoration for each other. I love spending time with my couples and feeling the love between them and what makes each couple unique, it's one of the best parts of capturing your moments.
